Day 01 :– Chandigarh to shimla (1900mtrs.) 370kms 8 hrs :
Arrive Chandigarh and transfer by road to Shimla the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02:- Shimla:
This morning you will visit Kufri situated at an altitude of 2500 meters just an hour’s drive from Shimla. Later this afternoon take a walking tour of Shimla, visit the Jakhoo hills that offer a panoramic view of the town visit the Vice Regal Lodge and walk down the Mall Road... Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03:– Shimla to Manali (2000 mtrs) 260kms 7 hrs. :
Today you will proceed by road to Manali Set amidst pine-clad mountains, which gradually close in on both sides of the Beas and nestling in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest. Surrounding Scenery is exciting. Overnight in Hotel. Hotel
Day 04 :– Manali :
This morning you may take a walking tour of Manali, visiting the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving. You also visit the Tibetan Monastery and the handicraft center. The rest of the day at leisure or walk to the nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for its hot sulphur springs. Overnight at hotel in Manali.
Day 05:– Manali:
Full day tour of Rohtang Pass (an altitude of 3978 meters) - The majesty of the mountains and the glaciers can be seen at their best; you have next two hours to enjoy this snowy haven. Take a sledge ride down the slopes, try your luck climbing the little snow hills. On your descent to Manali, halt at the Rahalla falls and Solang Valley. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. Also halt at Marhi, Rahla falls, Nehru Kund. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06:– Manali to Dharamshala (235kms)
after breakfast drive to Dharamshala. En route visit Baijnath the oldest existing Shiva Temple in the country. Arrive Dharamshala and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit, Dall Lake, McLeodganj, St. Johns Church etc. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 07:– Dharamshala to Dalhousie (143kms)
After breakfast depart for Dalhousie by Road. Arrive Dalhousie full day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08:– Dalhousie to Pathankot (80km)
Full day sightseeing to Khajjiar, 18 Kms from Dalhousie. It’s one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover. After lunch drive to Pathankot. |
